Accessing a datasource for answers

Oct 4, 2009 at 6:07 AM

Hi there...

I want my users to be able to answer questions from a dropdown list of answers that are stored in an Access DB... Basically, the use case is that they would answer X number of questions, hit Next, answer some more, hit Finish.

Upon hitting Finish, all of their information they selected from the previous pages would be sent to the DB.

(OR, I'm open to the information being sent to the DB for each page when the user hits Next...)

I'm not sure exactly what your question is. From a UI perspective, we don't have a step in the step library for multiple questions with dropdown answers, so you'd have to roll your own.  As for saving to the DB, you can certianly do it either after each step (set the step's NextHandler) or after the wizard is finished running (read the values out of the steps in your code).

Have you seen the Blog-Torial? It covers all these things I've mentioned.
